Signage Brief
Taking the time to gain an in-depth understanding of our clients’ needs lies at the heart of every successful project. The first and most important thing we do is talk to you; we find out exactly what you want your signs to deliver for your business and its customers. Turning your concepts into manufacturing reality is behind everything that we do.
Through this dialogue we find the core purpose and intent behind your brief and then design and implement around these core objectives and deliverables. This focus on defining and delivering precisely what is required is woven through every stage of our process.
Design & Prototyping
We bring to projects our extensive design skills and in-depth understanding of our medium, enabling us to deliver a significantly better end product than manufacturers whose abilities begin and end with the ability to manufacture signage.
We care about all aspects of design and understand what intelligent design, whether our own or another designer’s, can contribute to a successful project. Using conceptual design, sketches, 3-dimensional computer renderings, mock-ups and prototyping we value-engineer and optimise all aspects of your signage. This gives you the opportunity to consider cost saving proposals, commercial viability and whole-life practicalities without losing the creative vision that made the proposal so exciting in the first place.
The breadth of experience within our in-house design team allows us to consider a range of alternative design solutions and production methods, enabling your project to be completed on programme and on budget while staying true to the brief
Project Management
Upon receipt of your order, Interplan will appoint a dedicated project manager, along with a support team to oversee the project through to completion. Our operating ethos is to ensure that the project is installed on time, to agreed quality standards and within budget.
The project manager is responsible for keeping you up to date with the progress of your project, issuing jobs to production, organising installation and completing risk assessments and method statements.
Manufacturing Reality
With over 30 years experience in sign manufacturing, a dedicated, versatile and highly skilled workforce and excellent coverage across the UK, Interplan has the ability to deliver signage projects on any scale and in any location. Keeping up-to-date with the latest materials, manufacturing processes and technologies has cemented our position as a leading manufacturer of architectural signage.We employ our own specialist fitters and our policy is to maintain full in-house control over all site work. We subcontract only when absolutely necessary and only with our clients prior agreement. Our fleet of liveried vehicles operates nationally with fifteen crews based at strategic locations throughout the UK.
Installation
All of our two man installation teams operate nationally from fully equipped and Interplan branded vehicles which are fitted with satellite tracking devices. Each team member holds CSCS, IPAF and PASMA accreditation, with the team supervisor being in possession of industry standard SSSTS accreditation. Additionally, Interplan have safecontractor accreditation. Our policy is to maintain full in-house control over all site work. After Sales Care
Our client relationship does not end with installation of the final sign and the submission of our detailed O&M Manual – for us that is just the beginning of another journey. We recognise the importance of whole-life service; having made a significant investment in signage you want to safeguard that investment and maximise the return from it by ensuring that your signs remain effective throughout their life. Signage in pristine condition provides your business with year round high quality and low cost advertising. To deliver effective and responsive sign-care services we operate a separate, dedicated service, Interplan After Care, with its own crews, management and resources. We provide this service because we want to help you keep your signage assets in immaculate condition and because we want to become a valued long-term partner. This whole-life approach has given us many valued, long-term key accounts most of them being Interplan clients for 10 years or more. We want every new client to enjoy and value the benefits of working with us and, ultimately, become our next long-term partner.
Interplan are able to provide tailored solutions to suit the best needs of your business. Offerings include scheduled maintenance of the signage within your building or signage estate to a reactive solution, which quite often results from signage failure and disruption caused to your brand awareness. Our After Care department will be happy to discuss your requirements, without the type of pressure that you experience when purchasing an extended warranty for your ‘household white goods’.
