Client: Network Rail
Project: Framework Agreement for the provision of Health & Safety Signs and Notices and Wayfinding Signage to their Managed Stations and depots
Following a competitive tender situation in 2017, Interplan were awarded a 5 Year Framework Agreement for the supply and installation of the signage requirements across the estate of Network Rail Managed Stations.
We manufacture all of the required signage in house and have a manufacturing department who are dedicated to the production of all types of signage for this sector. One of the many advantages of having a dedicated team is that we are able to respond positively to short lead times and our fleet of vehicles can either deliver or install as required.
All of our rail operatives are in possession of industry standard accreditation and Interplan have a consistent in-house Network Rail installation resource, ensuring that none of this work is subcontracted.
Health and Safety signage is produced in a variety of materials, including permanent grade vinyl, ACM, powder coated or enamelled aluminium, which will be appropriately finished, and texting can be either vinyl texted, screen printed, or direct substrate digitally printed which can be protected by either a matt overlaminate or clear lacquer coating.
Wayfinding signage projects are managed through our Concept to Completion approach to Project Management, where Interplan effectively become an extension of the Client team. We take full responsibility for the initial survey, artwork for approval prepared in accordance with the Clients corporate brand guidelines, choice of the most appropriate materials, production of CAD drawings, manufacture and out of hours installation.
Products that have been supplied as part of the projects that we have worked on, include fabricated lettering, enamelled aluminium signs, post and panel directional signs, projecting signs, vinyl floor graphics, wall mounted or free-standing digital displays which can be stand alone or fully integrated into the station network.
